Abstract

In modern era, the professionals have pivotal role for the development of the society. For the achievement of this 
purpose the teachers give their effective suggestion to the education leaders to boost the workplace environment for 
the growth of the institutions. Therefore, higher authorities engage the teaching faculty in decision-making in order 
to finalize the direction to complete the specific tasks. The aim of this research was to examine the comparison 
between public and private secondary school teachers regarding decision-making participation in administrative 
task. The population of this research was secondary school teachers from Hafizabad whereas, 283 (public 145, 
private 138) respondents were constituted as study sample by administered simple random sampling technique. 
Collection of data was administered through survey method by using self-administered instrument. The findings 
identified a significance difference between public and private school teachers about the factors planning, rules and 
regulations, students’ affairs, and institutional building. This study may be considered as spring board for 
developing the educational institutions through human resources
